As part of our Pride commitment, Coles will aim to create and maintain an inclusive culture in which the LGBTI community feel they can be their authentic selves and have a safe place to work.


Recent Pride Action in Coles:

  • ‘Gender Affirmation and Transition at Coles’ Guidelines. Through these guidelines, we plan to raise awareness within Coles about our transgender community, as well as provide information, tools, and resources to assist all Coles Team Members gain a greater understanding on how they can support or be supported throughout this journey.
  • International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT) As part of this day Coles raised awareness and celebrated our Coles Team Members that represent the percentage of people in Australia who identify as part of the LGBTI community.
  • Peer to Peer Support Group also known as the Allies who are team members that have volunteered to be trained by Pride in Diversity on how to assist LGBTI related enquiries and individuals. The Allies are passionate about inclusion, believe in equality and strongly support the LGBTI community at Coles.
