We are looking for Graduates to join the Graduate program who exhibit the following:

Currently we have two start dates per year, February and August.

We ask you to complete your preferred start date on your initial application form. If you are successful in your application, we will discuss commencement dates with you.

There are a few criteria you need to meet to be eligible for the program:

• You must have completed a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
• You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold permanent residency at the time of application.

The exact steps to our recruitment process can change year to year, however it usually includes the following steps.

• Online application (approx. 10-15 minutes to complete)
• Online testing – (approx. 30 -60 minutes to complete)
• Video Interview – (approx. 20 minutes to complete)
• Case study – (recommend spending 60 minutes + to prepare)
• Assessment centre – (approx. 2-4 hours)
• Interview – (approx. 30 minutes to complete)
• Store or DC activity (Ops grads only) (approx. 30-45 minutes to complete)

We will keep you informed throughout the process, and if you are successful through a stage of the process, we will inform you of the next steps, what’s expected and the timelines.

Although we do not provide financial assistance for your relocation, we’ll definitely be able to connect you with other graduates who have relocated for their hints and tips!

In most companies, Graduates rotate through different teams in the one function but at Coles we do things a little bit differently.

Our generalist program structure means that you can either work in the one function over the two years or  complete one year in one function and have the opportunity to move to another function in your next year. We’ve had Graduates complete cross functional moves from Finance to Digital and HR to Buying & Trading.

So if you’re not sure what function you’re passionate about, a generalist program at Coles is right for you!

At the end of your 2 year Graduate program you will have an opportunity to apply for roles within the business and continue your career at Coles.
