Key dates for you to make note of

  • 4 July 2017 - Applications open for our October (QLD only) and January 2018 intakes
  • 30 July 2017- Applications close for both intakes
  • September 2017 - Assessment centres held throughout Australia
  • 9 October 2017-  Queensland 2017 program commences
  • 30 January 2018 - 2018 Program commences



What programs are available?

We offer 3 different Operations Gradate Programs:

What do we look for?

We are looking for Graduates to join the Graduate program who exhibit the following:
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment
  • A drive for results
  • A desire to challenge yourself an others
  • A can do attitude
  • Curiosity and desire to learn
  • Team player
  • Excited about a career in retail

When does the program start?

Our Graduate programs run for 2 years.

Applications will open on July 4th for the following intakes:

  • October 2017
  • January 2018

Am I eligible?

There are a few criteria you need to meet to be eligible for the programs:

  • You must have completed a Bachelor or Diploma qualification, or higher.
  • You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold permanent residency at the time of your application.



What is the recruitment process?

It's a simple 3 step process for candidates...

  • Assessment Centre in May (this is held at one of our State offices)

  • We'll ask for some personal details, your CV and for you to answer a few simple questions

Assessment Centre

  • Be yourself!
  • You will need to prepare for a short case study.
  • Be prepared to have discussions and talk in front of small groups - if you get nervous, practice!
  • The 'meet and greet' session is for candidates who are successful through the first half of the assessment cetnre.
    • This is an informal discussion between representatives from across the business and YOU!
    • It is a two-way conversation, not a formal interview.
    • We'll spend 30 minutes getting to know you and you can get to know us!
  • It's not about 'winning', so focus on teamwork.
  • It's not how much you say, it's what you say that counts.

Do I get financial assistance from Coles for my relocation if I complete the program outside my home state?

Although we do not provide financial assistance for your relocation, we’ll definitely be able to connect you with other graduates who have relocated for their hints and tips!
