Our Operations Graduate Program is a two year, fast paced program setting you up to become Store Manager, which is just the start of your leadership journey at Coles! Beyond Store Manager you have the potential to lead a region, market or even a state. You may even be our next Managing Director.
Year one of the program is all about customers and fresh food! So, graduates will be doing things like accompanied customer shops, real customer listening sessions, supplier visits and much more! This is all critical in helping to understand how to deliver the best experience for our customers and driving success in key categories. Grads will also be required to champion change and lead departments with real commercial targets.
Year two is then all about people and commercial leadership. They’ll be supported in building these skills through professional training and development sessions but most importantly, through continued hands on experience. Graduates will be leading larger teams and have responsibility for much larger departments. They’ll also get the opportunity to participate in a major project and complete a four day residential leadership program towards the end of their graduate journey
