Your Job Search
There are 2 ways you can search for and apply to vacancies within Coles - Online and through the Coles 'Walk-In Process'. Which ever you choose, and it can be both, remember to always show us how and why you are the best candidate for the job. Whether you apply online, or in person at one of our stores, remember to make your first impression a winning one.
The Online Application Process
Our online application process has been created to make applying for a job with Coles easy and convenient. In the comfort of your own home, you can take the time to search for jobs which match your requirements and career aspirations.
- In our 'Job Search' function, simply list your career and location preferences. If there are any vacancies that match what you’re looking for, you can apply to the positions immediately. Always remember to answer all questions in the application form and upload your resume.
Once you have lodged your application, your details will be assessed for suitability. From here, and as quickly as possible, you will be advised if you will, or will not, be considered for the formal interview process.
- If there are no matches for your preferences, you can instead submit an 'Expression of Interest'. This option appears on the top right hand corner of each page.
An 'Expression of Interest' is not a job vacancy - it is an opportunity for you to list your employment preferences, including location, hours and department. It also includes an area where you can tell us a bit more about yourself and we strongly encourage you to provide this information.
When you lodge an 'Expression of Interest', your application will enter a database of job seeking candidates. Suitable candidates are selected when the information entered on the application form is matched with the job criteria the Store has requested. This includes such information as location preferences and availability.
Important Notes
- Communication will generally be via email. Please ensure your email address is always active and checked regularly.
- If at any time, you no longer wish to be considered for positions you have applied to, including the ‘Expressions of Interest’ database, please logon to your online account and withdraw your application(s). This will prevent you from receiving any unwanted emails or communication from the recruitment teams and our stores.
