Frequently Asked Questions
Finding a job and applying
Will I receive a response to my application?
Yes. You will receive an email that confirms receipt of your application within 24 hours of applying. You can then sign in as an existing applicant to our job search service to check the progress of your application.
If you do not receive any communication from us within 24 hours of submitting your application, please check that the email address you used on your application form is accurate. If you have not entered a valid email address we will not be able to contact you.
What if I have trouble lodging my online application?
If the problem is not a technical issue with the computer you are using, please contact the Recruitment Centre on 1800 170 947 for assistance.
Can I apply for more than one job?
Yes. You can apply for as few or as many jobs as you like. Don't forget to choose jobs that match your skills, experience and career ambitions.
I applied for a Job and I still haven’t heard from you – how long does it take?
Firstly, please ensure you have answered all questions in the application form and that you have uploaded your resume. If you have not submitted all required information, your application will carry a status of ‘Incomplete’. This status will render your application as invalid until you have logged back into your account and answered all questions.
Check your email account to ensure our communication is not going into your 'Junk' inbox.
If you applied to a listed Vacancy
If all details are completed correctly, please check the closing date of the vacancy (this is included at the bottom of the job advertisement). In some instances, communication will not be sent to applicants until the job is closed – this provides the opportunity for us to receive all applications prior to considering applicant suitability.
If none of these outcomes meet your query, please contact the Recruitment Centre in your state.
If you applied to the 'Expressions of Interest' Form
The 'Expressions of Interest' job is a database that contains applicant details, preferences and experiences. When a store lists a vacancy, a Recruitment Officer will perform a search of the database to match the most suitable applicants to the vacancy. There may be up to 200 candidates who meet the required criteria, so selection for an interview can be a lengthy process.
You can increase your chances by directly approaching your preferred stores and by always keeping your online account active and relevant to the positions you are applying for.
